This release is produced at Lech Wałęsa Airport, outside Gdańsk, Poland, while waiting for my flight back home after a two-day conference plus a pre-day full of workshops in Gdynia, the Baltic Summit — yes, an awesome long weekend that calls for a new release! When in Poland, we Polish!

Gemini enters FetchXML Builder

#1177: Supports Google Gemini AI Provider
At the beginning of 2026, Ben Hainsworth from New Zealand submitted a request to test the AI Chat in FetchXML Builder and asked if I could implement Google Gemini as a provider. Only a bunch of months later, I have now impemented it!
During my testing, I can say that even Google Gemini knows Microsoft, Power Platform, Dataverse, and how to formulate FetchXML — it works lovely with Gemini too!
Have you not requested to try AI Chat in FetchXML Builder? Do it! Test it! Learn it! See here how!
Improvements
AI Models loaded from the Provider

I was struggling to keep track of all the new models that are released constantly. Now I don’t need it anymore.
OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic are read from their own URLs, and if you use Foundry OpenAI, it will be loaded from your own endpoint to show which models you have installed.
Never ever any more hard-coded models!
Polishing Settings UX

When models are loaded, it shows more visibility into what is happening.
Changed the order of the controls to be more intuitive: Provider, Endpoint, API Key, Model.
Minor
- Removed unnecessary code after the base class
RappPluginControlBasewas introduced. Commit 503a077
Bugfixes
I don’t do bugs.
